There’s no better way to get to know each other than playing a game of Taboo! Talking and laughing and teasing each other is all part of the fun when you bring out the Taboo cards. My friends and I love to mix up the topics, from foods to medical health to business vocabulary and so many more. Sometimes we get so carried away we don’t even notice the time passing. What a great way to make memories!
Food
Food brings everyone together, and it’s always a great topic to discuss while playing Taboo. Who doesn’t love yummy food? And if you have an extra picky eater in the group, the taboo cards can really help bring out all the laughs!
Business Vocabulary
Some nights we’re feeling fancy, so what better way to act all sophisticated than with a little bit of business vocabulary? Discussing corporate lingo over a great game of Taboo? Sign us up! Besides, it’s a great way to learn new words or to remember words that have become so overused and forgotten.
Medical Health
It’s not all about fun and games, though. We like to tell stories about our sick grandparents when we play medical health taboo cards. Sure, it can be a bit more sad than the others but it’s a great way to honor our elders, and to educate ourselves about important medical terms. Afterall, our health is something to be taken seriously.
Hobbies
Ah, hobbies – the perfect way to express yourself. It’s no wonder everyone loves to chat about hobbies while playing a game of Taboo. We tend to learn a lot about each other when we talk about our passions. It’s always fun to see each other get a little competitive when someone just has to get the right answer!
Expressions
Sometimes, you just want something more than words on the cards. When that’s the case we usually get out the cards with expressions. They make us laugh and we can get a bit silly with the guesses and laughter that ensues. We always look forward to those game nights, no matter what cards we get.
Taboos
Ah, the taboos. It’s almost like a challenge to guess the right words without using the taboo ones or any of the related words. It’s both exciting and nerve-wracking all at once. We often stay up way past our bedtime just to get the answer right and win the debate over the correct guess. And of course, to catch up on all the gossip!
